Day 9 - 365 Things To Do In Bellingham, WA - Take a Walk

Take a walk from Fairhaven to Downtown Bellingham and help celebrate World Water Day 2010. This is Bellingham's second annual Walk for Water. The 2.3-mile walk symbolizes the distance women and children across the world frequently travel to collect water for household use.

The walk will begin at 10 a.m. starting at the Fairhaven Village Green and go via Taylor Dock and Boulevard Park and end at Depot Market Square where free snacks, exhibits and water activities will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is a very popular walk that you can do any dayof the year along this beautiful trail that parallels Bellingham Bay.
