Went on a listing appointment today, no did not get the listing, but still walked away with a smile on my face.

How refreshing that there is still Loyalty amongst realtors and their clients; this is the reason I did not get the listing.  The home-owners have had a long relationship with their realtor. This realtor sold them the house they are now moving out of and having worked with and known this person for quite a few years, they felt loyal to their realtor.realtorinsignia

They have built a trust and rapport and know that this realtor will get the job done. And so rather than hire the realtor sitting before them who is just as knowledgeable and skilled and has all the technology behind her, they still choose to be loyal.

I can respect that. Isn't this what we're all aspiring to? To earn the trust and respect from our clients by working hard and maintaining integrity.  In this day and age of instant gratification it is so easy for sellers to go with whoever and whatever and whoever will give the biggest discount! or not! Discount/do it yourself brokerages are popping up all over in order to "earn" business or rather help you save on the almighty dollar! and in the end,  most clients/sellers will end up hiring a Realtor to sell their home  or buy one and get the job done, a Realtor that they know and have prior experience with and trust.

What's that saying "You get what you pay for"?  If you are or thinking about getting into the real estate market, consider who has been there for you and has finished the job, your Realtor/s. It pays to be loyal.

If you have Realtor that you know and trust, Great!  If you are in need of a hard-working, trustworthy Realtor feel free to give me a cal at 360-303-3898.
